Spring has definitely sprung and the food festival season has begun with the award-winning Parramatta Lanes festival.

parramatta lanes comes to life

Celebrating it’s fifth year, Parramatta Lanes promises a mouth-watering program of food, music and visual delights. Including over 50 food stalls, 5 licenced bars and 12 laneways and hidden spaces.

Following five successful years, the Parramatta Lanes festival is one of Sydney’s favourite food and cultural events. Parramatta is flourishing with its own bold, unique and inspiring personality and this event showcases the City’s creative and vibrant energy at its best,” City of Parramatta Council Lord Mayor Cr Andrew Wilson said.

The festival has become so popular we’ve expanded from 10 to 12 sites this year and we are activating new laneways we haven’t used before to appeal to a wide range of food and cultural tastes.”

You’ll be spoilt for choice by the line-up of street food from the likes of Butter Sydney, Jimmy Liks, Espresso Warriors, 2 Smoking Barrels, Agape Organics, Johnny Lobster, Neil Perry’s Burger Project and more.

Local Highlights

Of course the locals will be out in force – The Emporium Parramatta, Temasek, Sofrito, Chef’s Gallery and delicacies from some of the most authentic restaurants in Harris Park including Billu’s, will bring a range of delicious favourites to the mix. A highlight being the opening night collaboration between Uncle Kurt’s and Darcy Street Project, as they produce espresso martinis and gourmet New York style hot dogs.

Maverick Wings

Parramatta Lanes would not be complete without refreshing drinks!  Archie Rose Distilling Co are serving up cocktails with an Asian twist, while Australian beers and cider from Riverside Brewery will be on tap. You’ll find spicy sangria at Bar 30, refreshing brews from 350 Restaurant and Lounge, sparkling spritzes by Jamie’s Italian + Bar and sophisticated signature drinks by The Emporium Bar.
